Abstract: How can women make themselves heard more effectively in the knowledge production process? Women’s words are frequently misunderstood or inadvertently nullified. By mobilizing theories and insights from sociolinguistics, psycholinguistics, and philosophy of language,  Morasch extracts communication strategies that improve linguistic awareness for all conversation partners and thereby secure better recognition of women’s contributions.
